Clipboard data is available to all apps on an Android device. Use the Clipboard Sweeper to make sure no one can access sensitive information such as passwords or credit card numbers. Keep your clipboard clean - quick and easy.. it's free!
Available on Android Pie and lower, as Google will not allow access to the clipboard on later versions.
Simply set the amount of entries to delete and run a sweep. This app supports to overwrite up to 50 unlocked clipboard entries, in case your Android device provides a multi-entry clipboard, like Samsung does. The app can be configured to sweep your clipboards automatically.
Use the widget for quick and easy sweeping:
- Press and hold any empty space on a homescreen
- Select "Widgets"
- Choose the Clipboard Sweeper Widget
Those are general instructions, your Android device might handle widgets differently. Run a sweep to configure the amount of clipboard entries handled by the widget. The widget will look for data in the main clipboard after unlocking the screen. The text of the widget will turn red if data is found and green if the main clipboard is empty. It will turn yellow if the app is waiting for access to the clipboard.
