HUGEROCK X72
The cockpit tablet built for the demands of flight
Engineered to handle engine vibration and cockpit heat, stay legible in direct sunlight, and deliver high-rate GPS positioning — the HUGEROCK X72 is a rugged tablet designed for the conditions pilots fly in.
Supplemental, non-certified aid. Not to be used as a primary means of navigation or flight reference. See disclaimer below.
Direct Sun: No Problem
At 2600 nits — roughly triple a typical consumer tablet — the X72's display is built to stay legible in bright glare, including under a bubble canopy. No more shading the screen with your hand or squinting at your approach plate mid-turn!
High-Rate GPS
The X72's GPS receiver can output position updates up to 10 times per second (10Hz), designed to keep pace with fast maneuvering rather than steady cruise alone.
It combines L1 and L5 satellite bands, a dual-frequency approach designed to reduce multipath errors from terrain and structures compared to single-frequency GPS receivers.
Built Tough
Aviation cockpits shake constantly and can bake under a greenhouse canopy. The X72's reinforced chassis and internals are designed to withstand sustained vibration and high heat that can affect consumer-grade tablets.
Future Proof
Swap in a fresh battery instead of retiring the whole tablet.
Support for multiple connectivity options, including charging over USB through a separate magnetic connector, keeping the tablet's main USB port free.
